DJ KOOL HERCが1970年代にパーティを始め、ヒップホップ生誕の地と言われているブロンクスの1520 Sedgwick Avenueにあるアパートが差し押さえられ、近々オークションにかけられることになったようです。
本日8月11日は、1973年にDJ KOOL HERCが初めてパーティを開催した記念すべき日でございます。2009年のNYのHIPHOPバスツアーに参加した際にも、Grandmaster Caz氏が参加者に向かって「HIPHOPが生まれた日は？」とクイズを出していましたが、８月11日ですYO。詳しくはコチラをどうぞ。
